Maria Rabinovich is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She started her relationship with ceramics as a teenager in 1984 at Carlota Petrollini's studio. She studied Psychology and traveled around the world before she worked as an apprentice with Yul Casas Cordero, a peruvian Master kiln builder in the lates 90' . She moved to Berkeley, California where she built her studio “Emporio UnMani” in 2010. In 2019 she was invited to the first Soda Firing International Festival, in Fupping, China. She is currently teaching and working at her studio in Berkeley.
